Is Barbizon and Royal Management Agency a scam?

i went to an "audition" today and i feel as if im going to be ripped off again. They claim they are working with Royal management agency and that once i graduate i will be able to find an agent through them. I read that Baribizon is a school and i have already attended John Robert Powers, another modeling/acting school. I ended up spending about 5k and in the end, got nothing out of it. Do you have any success stories in which after Barbizon you were successful? Or is this indeed a scam for
