The insurance industry says the slow uptake of the newly introduced integrated motor insurance data system is frustrating efforts to eliminate fake claims from the industry. The association of Kenya Insurers-AKI says some members are reluctant to provide data on their clients exposing the industry to fraudsters with at least of 40% of the claims paid being fraudulent.
