How should I handle an insurance claims rep who refuses to honor a legitimate claim?

Last week my car was broken into. I lost a bunch of items valuing a total of almost $900.00 I spoke to a State Farms claims rep, who told me that they were not responsible for the items lost. I lost a cell phone, an i pod, a digital camera, and all of my fishing gear. I have my house and all three of my cars insured with State Farm. Do I have any
