Chesterfield County jobless numbers continue to drop in the second month of the first quarter, according to the S.C. Employment Security Commission. The county’s adjusted jobless rate of 13.2 percent is down from 14.7 recorded in January. Initially, the state recorded a 13.7 percent unemployment rate in January.
