LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Arkansas attorney general's office is giving $425,000 from a settlement with a yogurt maker to three food banks.
Attorney General Dustin McDaniel announced Friday that he will divide the settlement evenly for to the Arkansas Foodbank, Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance and Arkansas Rice Depot. Each will get $141,666.
The settlement was with The Dannon Co. to put to rest claims the company overstated health benefits of its products.
